There is a true legendary tale behind the name of our beloved grappa, “Filu ‘e Ferru,” which means “iron wire.”
Long ago, amidst our vineyards and wild herbs, Sardinian farmers distilled this precious spirit.
To protect it from the prying eyes of tax collectors, the bottles where hid underground, marking the spot with a simple iron wire.
Filu ‘e Ferru became the silent guardian of this hidden treasure and a testament of the passion for preserving the traditions. Each sip of this exquisite spirit carries the whispers of those ancient tales, a bridge between the past and the present, embodying the very soul of Sardinia.
